About The World in Our Minds

Through this exhibition, we promote an understanding of the diversity of individual brains.

Individual differences can be complemented or extended by utilizing technology.

Furthermore, we convey that by redesigning existing environments from a D&I (Diversity & Inclusion) perspective, we can alleviate the difficulties of living and build a society where every single person can unleash their “potential.”

The promotion of neurodiversity unleashes new creativity, leading to the development of society as a whole.

In this exhibition, we refer to the respective worlds in which we live as our “individual worlds in our minds.”

Based on the idea that each of these worlds is shaped by the interaction between the “individual” and the “environment,” this exhibition fosters an understanding of neurodiversity through these two approaches.

In the approach to the individual, we learn about the diversity of individual traits and societal perceptions from three perspectives: “brain,” “body,” and “mind.”

By extending these through technology, visitors will experience how “impossible” can turn into “possible,” and discover the potential to unleash unique, new “strengths.”

In the approach to the environment, we reflect on the impact of our surroundings from three perspectives: “physical objects,” “social systems,” and “relationships with people.”

When the environment changes, what was once a “disability” may no longer be a barrier.

Furthermore, we prompt visitors to reconsider whether the environment currently taken for granted is truly appropriate for everyone, providing an opportunity to think about the kind of environment we should build to realize a society where everyone can live comfortably and easily unleash their “potential.”

The venue is divided into five areas, and by exploring them in order, visitors will deepen their understanding of neurodiversity.

This exhibition provides an opportunity to re-examine how we perceive individual differences and how environments should be, encouraging visitors to think about a society where every individual can easily unleash their “potential.”
